Youtube is a hard gig period. The watch time for videos and amount of views required is unreal for new users. The music creator category is the worst you can get into on YouTube. Very few     See More tch this stuff. Only people interested in the gear or something specific about music watch this stuff. So supporting people who get on here is a real thing. You can be on here for years and never get paid because of how the algorithm works. Likes and even dislikes affects the amount of views. Also when topics come up like all this MPC stuff old videos that match the category get put back into rotation. I agree with you Bolo there are alot of new people trying to do something on here. It's just not really a place to be thou. I really think being on Youtube is a personal preference now a days. More for tutorials and walk throughs on how to do something and less about entertainment. The bashing Akai thing I disagree most negative videos have been people doing beta testing and showing bugs or people trying to use the official released firmware having so many unexpected problems that they are frustrated. I have been there with the force so I know exactly how they are feeling. There's nothing like building up a full song and having the system crash as you are adding a plugin and losing all your work. Or trying to do something that you have been able to do for years in the new firmware and finding that it doesn't work at all in this new firmware. People are willing to pay more, if they can invest in something that can give them the advantage and others waiting to see how you marvel them. The Akai platform is in trouble because they have a LOT of legacy devices in a form factor that is 'legacy' but they can't evolve because it would alienate their user base and the only place for them to go it so copy what Macshine does and they may get sued.
