After using it a lot in school I realize pro use it so there fore you don’t need all these special grids like FL studio or transpose features now I learned it’s for pros because of not what it doesn’t have but its pro because of the users who use it 😂😂😂 I just Figured it out for the world . if you Ever tracked REAL ARTIST TOU WILL SEE THAT THEY COME IN THE STUDIO PREPARED ALREADY THEY REALKY SONT NEED TO TRANSPOSE IT . They are real instrument players that can do tracks in few takes 😂😂. It’s like being in the team with MJ just pass them the ball they already know chord progressions and riffs , and theory in there heads so they don’t need all these features for boobs not less you want to purchase 3rd party plugins . It to me is more like Apple with more concerned about community and stability , brand and customer support and being for surround sound broadcast , it’s cohesive . In pro tools, you can punch different automatisations from buffer,basicly A/B automatisation across all tracks for all fx parameters.Not sure that any other daw can do that.     See Less

Calling Pro Tools outdated is laughable and only said by somebody with lack of understanding.

An engineer came into my studio a few years back, saw me on Pro Tools and was talking abo     See More eed FL Studio instead.

Tried selling me on the fact its easier to detect the BPM of a beat on FL.. i asked him, "can i import movie footage?" He said, "oh nah" and conversation was over lol

I guess when you're ONLY a producer or enginner, you're not aware of the bigger fish and why we use it. We can do what your DAW can do, but your DAW cant do what ours can.

The software runs different with every architecture. Just because there are things you can do in another architecture that you can’t do in another doesn’t make them better. Pro tools is     See More Audio Work station. Its focus is Audio Quality and yes fam. They are the industry standard because their ad/da conversions are simply better than every other software. Now in defense you can purchase hardware that will give you more ability in terms of editing. For example without a mixer you are bound to the mouse which some ppl are ok with. The quality of a mix down is nowhere near as good as that from Pro tools which is why you keep going to your buddies studio. But hey I love what you’re doing. I can record in any and every DAW and all DAW do something things a little different. Wanting them all to function the same would Not make them different DAWs 😅.
