AI is a tool. A very powerful tool at that. Saying they’re not musicians because they use a more effective tool is comparable to someone saying just cause someone uses an Pneumatic Nail gun isn’t a carpenter because he’s used to nail down wood with a normal hammer

It’s just progress and AI lacks creativity so that’s where the human element comes in to make it actually work

i was listening to Joe Budden recently where he said that he's bought a few AI songs, initially by mistake. But he said something in the effect of: the general consumer wont care. Only t     See More in the industry will or musicians. General consumers don't care about musicians plight, so it's your job as a musician to make people care about your art. You have to push it yourself now more than ever and you'll find people that care about what it is your art. And with this AI thing I see it going the way of every individual creating their own thang, bump it and enjoy it themselves and not necessarily share with others.
