Honestly it’s kinda crazy your on here influencing people and don’t know this shit lol But something that can def sound different and I’ve been having a blast with is trying different stretch algos in your daw. Reaper is by far the best, as it has tons of combinations to choose from. Anyway, if your doing any time stretching or up/downsampling, or if your daw is when you import your samples, they could be using slightly different algorithms, as well as the samplers themselves. So you could actually be right in a weird way. But if everything is done 1 for 1 there should be zero difference. You should check out TAL sampler if you’re looking for the hardware vibe.    See Less
